Our Mission
Temple Beth Haverim is a growing and dynamic community of Jewish families of every age group and Jewish interest. Our Synagogue is a "House of Friends, a house of gathering, a house of study, and a house of prayer" for all people.
We celebrate the values of family and friendship whether you are a child, single, married, widowed, or divorced. We celebrate the value of study in the many classes we offer. We celebrate the value of tsedakah. And most important, we celebrate the sacred moments of Jewish life, ceremonies, rituals, and life-cycle events.
Temple Beth Haverim has a variety of Shabbat services to suit every family's needs, from the Tot Shabbat service to the traditional Friday evening service.
Our two-day-a-week accredited religious school has award winning programs in each grade. We are one of the only schools in the Conejo Valley to have several levels of Hebrew taught in each grade. Our active Kadima and USY offer programs monthly.
Become a part of the many activities scheduled by the Sisterhood, Men's Club, and Hai Timers. Experience the pride of our community action programs. Join the choir. Develop lifelong friendships by belonging to a Havurah. We invite you to become a part of our growing family to celebrate and enjoy Jewish life and values. Now in our new home on Ladyface Mountain this is an exciting time for everyone. We welcome you to become a part of our growing Temple family.
Please come and meet our wonderful Rabbi Gershon Weissman and hear the voice of Cantor Kenny Ellis. If you have any questions, please call the Temple Administrator, Eva Gladstone, at (818) 991-7111. |
